Tenesha Hartgrove

I am a native of Columbus, Ohio. I am a lifelong student in the area of accounting and finance having completed two Associate’s degrees, one in Finance and the other in Accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and a Master’s degree in Taxation. I am a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and am currently serving at the Vice-President of the Columbus Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).

My professional experience has spanned several industries including, tax preparation and planning, accounting, real estate investing, information technology, and banking. My diverse experience and my love of learning has developed a keen ability to look at things from different perspectives and develop strategic insights.

Ncrease Financial Services was born out of my lifelong desire to help others achieve their goals. Through my experience as a tax accountant working primarily with small business owners, I found that most entrepreneurs, while extremely knowledgeable and great at their area of expertise, many lacked the knowledge of accounting to truly have a good understanding of the financial aspects of their business. As Warren Buffett said, “Accounting is the language of business.” Yet many small business owners struggle with this aspect of running their business. Gaining insight on the financial health of your business can help tremendously with business planning, measuring, and evaluating the success of different projects, obtaining financing, and saving on taxes, just to name a few benefits.
